Sustainable design and construction
The 285,000-sq.-ft. U.S. Army Europe Shalikashvili Mission Command Center, built by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Europe District in Wiesbaden, Germany received a U.S. Green Buildings Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design silver certification in 2012. The project was the first LEED certified building for the U.S. government in Germany.
